Saturday June 26 ~ 10-3:00 “FLOWER ESSENCES, PLANT MEDICINES, and STONES~ NOURISHING OUR VIRTUES- AFFIRMING OUR CONNECTIONS”
~ with Special Guest Teacher: Herbalist and Flower Essence Practitioner, Jennifer Anne Tucker from Spring Mills, PA. Jennifer will lead us through the experience of creating hands-on preparations and applications of flower essences, herbs and stones ranging from the subtle energy medicines of flowers to the deeply nourishing power of plant poultices. * Please bring a small natural offering to use in making a Blessing Bundle. Cost $65. Besides her affinity with healing plants, Jennifer is an accomplished artist, photographer and author of 'Evelyn's Way- Poulticing with Plants'. The book, highly anticipated in its newly revised edition and soon to be back in print, is based on the life work of Evelyn Snook, a Pennsylvania herbalist whose miraculous recovery from 'untreatable cancer' using unconventional healing methods and wild plants initially inspired Jennifer's herbal path in 1971. Jennifer has spent the past 25 years devoted to Evelyn's work by sharing her knowledge and intuitive experiences of healing plants and flower essences through education and private consultations. This is a rare and wonderful opportunity to spend the day with an exceptionally gifted herbal teacher!! For more information about Jennifer’s photography visit www.Jennifer-Tucker.com.

**SUNDAY** July 25 ~ 1:00-3:30 PM : ‘LET’S MAKE SOFT CHEESE!!’
It's so easy to make fresh soft cheese with cow or goat milk and culture. We will go through the simple processes of making a fresh cheese like Chevre’ or Fromage Blanc. Unlike cheese that needs to be aged and carefully tended for months, fresh cheeses are ready to eat within a day and can be easily incorporated into any kitchen routine using basic kitchen equipment. After the basics are discussed and demonstrated, we will get our hands pleasantly 'dirty' by rolling freshly made cheese into fresh chopped herbs and toasted almonds. At the end of the class we will taste a variety of herbed cheeses!! Informational handouts and resource list included. The cost for this class is $50 and will include a copy of Ricki Carroll’s Book “Home Cheese Making” and one packet of culture of your choice!! Register early…this class has been wildly popular!

Saturday, August 7~10AM~3:00: ‘HAUL IN THE HERBAL HARVEST!’

Abundant handouts, recipes and take home herbal goodies will be provided. Roll your sleeves up; we’re going to work this one! Bring a bagged lunch! $40

Wednesday August 18 ~ 6:30PM-8:30 ‘LET’S MAKE MOZZARELLA CHEESE!’
You’ve asked for it! It’s easy to make homemade mozzarella cheese to serve with all those juicy red garden tomatoes and fresh basil. Will also share a great recipe for fresh whey bread with a few loaves straight from the oven. Abundant handouts, instruction and plenty to eat! Come hungry! $30

Saturday, September 4 ~10AM -3:00‘THE ART AND CRAFT OF TOPICAL REMEDIES’
Understanding that the skin is the largest organ system in the body helps us to utilize our herb allies in ways that don’t always require ingesting them! This class will specifically focus on the craft of topical applications: From green plant poultices, warm compresses and plasters to liniments, salves and more. Please dress appropriately for creating a variety of wonderfully sloppy, but therapeutic topical herb preparations. Bring a bagged lunch! $40
